Craft, Repair, and Sip: Join Us for a Creative Clothing Workshop at Grassroots Yoga Center!

We’re thrilled to invite you to a unique and creative event designed to breathe new life into your wardrobe. On Friday, September 6th, join us for an evening of clothing repair, modification, and crafting at the center. Whether you have a cherished item in need of some TLC or you’re eager to create something entirely new, this event is your chance to get crafty and connect with fellow DIY enthusiasts.

Bring your sewing machine if you have one—though we’ll also provide tools and materials. This workshop is perfect for all skill levels, from seasoned seamsters to enthusiastic beginners. Our goal is to offer a relaxed environment where you can learn new techniques, share ideas, and enjoy the creative process.

And what’s a creative evening without a little indulgence? We’ll have wine available for you to sip on as you work. 🍷 So come prepared for a fun, social evening where the focus is on creativity, community, and, of course, great conversation.

This workshop is a great prelude to our Clothing Swap happening on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. After you’ve finished crafting, stick around to explore and swap for new-to-you clothing items. It’s a fantastic way to update your wardrobe sustainably and affordably.
