A Grassroots Clean Up Day. Sunday, March 30th, 2025

Today was more than just a cleaning day—it was the first step in an exciting new chapter. As Brigette Pugh comes in as co-owner of Grassroots, we can move closer to accomplishing the mission of bringing health and wellness (with a little affinity for grit) to Carson City. As a community of people who hunger for what's better in this world, we’re creating something truly special. Today’s efforts set the foundation for what’s to come, and it is full of love, challenge, and joy.

With 30 dedicated people, we tackled the gym, cleaning equipment, clearing out space, and making way for new possibilities. But beyond the physical work, today was about community. It was about showing up, putting in the effort, and investing in a shared vision.

I am so incredibly proud of this group. Their hard work, teamwork, and commitment turned what could have been just another clean-up into a day filled with energy and purpose. This is how great things start- with effort AND heart.

Thank you to everyone who was part of this day. We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to share what’s next!
